Our church is conveniently located 15 mins east of Macon and 10 mins west of Gray, GA on Hwy 129.
WEEKLY PRAYER
Prayer for the New Year
Lord, as we stand at the edge of a brand new year and the unknown lies before us, we pray that your ever-guiding hand will lead us into that unknown so that with calm and assurance we will know that you are our rock and strength. With whatever we may face, you will be with us. Whether it be trials or hardships, you will be there. In the celebrations and joys yet to come, you will be there. There are many things that we would venture to pray for in our lives this year:
More time to spend with our loved ones and less stress at work,
More peace in our families and less hard feelings toward each other,
Better stewardship of our finances and fewer unexpected bills to pay,
More energy, health and wholeness in our lives and less sickness and depression,
More sleep and less restlessness and worry
More justice in the world and less strife and war
More courage for ourselves and our leaders to stand up and do the right thing, and most importantly,
More time to spend nourishing our spiritual lives and less priorities that take us away from serving, giving, and worshipping you.
But Lord, we do not know what this year will bring so we place our lives to your keeping. We can rest with peace and tranquility knowing that you are in control. Even in the best of times, even in the worst of times your are our God and we are your people.
In Jesus' precious and holy name we pray,
